By maintaining clear and organized semantics, users ensure that data is consistent, interpretable, and actionable, making analytics and decision-making more effective.
To access Semantics, Select Semantics from the top left of the page
Multi-Tagging Users can use this tool when modelling a large about of data streams. Use the filtering tools to select relevant data streams to add or subtract your new tags.
Backup & Restore Create a backup or restore semantic modelling from a previous backup. The backup table displays the date, creator, sites, number of nodes, restore and delete options.
Settings Users can access the predefined Tag Library to find definitions and help in adding tags related to the data streams in the semantic modelling.
Model Manager Summary Displays key statistics such as the total number of buildings, spaces, equipment, meters, streams, and total area, giving an overview of the organization's semantic structure.
Toggle Enable Drag & Drop on/off Users can enable drag and drop within the semantic modelling tree for easier restructuring.
Site List Tree Shows a list tree of defined sites or buildings, representing different locations being monitored in the system. Users can select and manage individual sites.
Add Site Enables users to create and add a new site or building to the semantics model, expanding the data structure. Click on the location icon and type in the address of the site. This will automatically create the following tags for the site and place your site on the Semantics Map:
Geo Co-ordinates
Geo Address
Geo City
Geo Country
Geo Postal Code
Geo State
Geo Street
Add Space Input a meaningful name/label for the space. Example above shows "Building 1" as the space name.
Add Equip (Equipment) Input a meaningful name/label for the equipment. Example above shows "MSB 1" as the equipment name.
Attach Points Select single or multiple data streams to attach to the equipment. The Green/Red circles indicate whether a data stream's reading status is Normal (green) or Warning (red).
