Niagara

Log into Niagara station that the uploader will extract the data from.

Create a Niagara oBIX User.

HTTP Basic Scheme

Check there is a HTTPBasicScheme under the authentication service.

(Go to the station, Config, Services, Authentication Service, Authentication Schemes)

If there is no HTTP Basic Scheme, you must add a HTTP Basic Scheme. This is added by selecting the Palette and opening the baja module. Expand the Authentication Schemes and expand the Web Services Schemes and drag and drop the HTTPBasicScheme to your authentication schemes window.

Niagara User

Create a new oBIX User, go to the station, Config, Services, then double click on User Service, and click on New, then press ok.

Ensure you complete the highlighted setting for the new user as shown in the image below. The authentication scheme Name must be set to HTTPBasicScheme.

This username and password will be used to connect the Bitpool Uploader with the history database.

Adding oBIX Network to Niagara.

Check under the driver’s section in Niagara to see if the ObixNetwork has been added beforehand.

If there is no ObixNetwork, open the Palette and type in Obix. Select the obixDriver.

Drag the ObixNetwork from the Palette to the driver’s area.

If there is already an Obix network driver, check the driver and the server is enabled.

These are the default settings below when you add the network from new.
